PARENTS AND CARERS WHO ARE CRITICAL WORKERS

PARENTS AND CARERS WHO ARE KEY WORKERS

Government guidance evening of 8th January 2021 changed.  If you can work at home you should do so. If you are at home and do not need to send your children to school they should be learning online at home. The public health emergency requires that we minimise numbers in school. This is to reduce risk of infections overwhelming the NHS and the lockdown having to continue for longer.

We have been inundated with ongoing requests for places in school for those children who have a critical worker parent.

Our risk assessment states that we have a maximum capacity; should we reach capacity in school we will have to reassess the current provision for critical workers prioritising Health, Social Care and Education (in that order).
