FROM MONDAY 5th OCTOBER 2020: Covid-19 -changes to school procedures

Good morning.  We are texting all parents today to alert them to a letter with an update on the current situation and some changes to school procedures.  Instances of Covid-19 have been rising rapidly around the country and particularly in our local region.  We have therefore had to review our risk assessment and tighten some of our procedures, as advised by our local authority and public health partners.  Please note that FROM MONDAY 5th OCTOBER 2020:

  • only one adult per family should bring children onto the school site, or enter the site to collect children at the end of the day (this includes the playground, field and paths);
  • adults dropping off or collecting pupils from the school site must wear a face covering whilst on school property;
  • all adults must remain 2m away from members of other households at all times.

Thank you for respecting our staff by complying fully with these procedures and acting responsibly if reminded of the rules on site.  Please note that all of our staff have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and to feel safe while at work.
