LO: To record information using a tally chart

 

Today try to create your own tally chart on a piece of paper. 

 

If possible, watch the cars go past your window and record which colour you see each time over the space of five to ten minutes. What questions can you answer from the information that you've collected?

 

Ask members of your family about their favourite fruit, ice-cream flavour etc and create a tally chart for this information. Ask your grown-up to phone or text other family members or friends to find out their favourites too!
