Can you thinks of any other animals that could be in the song?
Friday Finger Gym
In Nursery we always have provision to help develop your child's fine motor skills, so during Lockdown we will be sharing and activity for you to try at home.
Yesterday, we shared a recipe for play dough, (it is on this post too), as you will need it for today's activity. Today you will be going to the Dough Disco. We have started with the video below as it shows the children some of the moves.
Play Dough Recipe
2 cups of flour
3/4 cup of salt
4 teaspoons of Creme de Tarte
2 cups of water (straight from the tap)
An optional good drizzle of food colouring.
Put all ingredients in a pan (not your brand new ones) and give it a good stir.
Next, put the pan on a medium hit and KEEP stirring until the mixture creates a firm but soft dough.
Wait for it to cool before handling, then maybe soak your pan.
We have now met the Numberblocks from 1 to 10.
Today we want you to use your careful counting to count the number of objects on the attached PowerPoint and match it to the correct Numberblock.
If you wish you can ask your child to count any objects and match it to the correct Numberblock. There is a Numberblocks poster attached to support this activity.
