Happy New Year everyone! We have started our Spring term with a lovely new carpet, after our old one was ruined by a radiator leak. It has certainly made the classroom look, feel and smell fresher.

Thank you for all the lovely Christmas gifts I received. I hope everyone managed to have a good holiday and avoid the dreaded lurgy!

I have been overwhelmed by the wonderful research which the children did last week for their Wild Animal report. They have chosen key facts to include in the reports and these are well underway. I will include some photos of finished work next week.

Our trip to Ordsall Hall today was a huge success. A big thank you to my helpers; we couldn't have gone without you! So much has been learnt about life in Tudor times and the children loved the very hands- on approach by the staff at Ordsall. We were able to dress up as Tudor men and ladies, learning how to bow and curtsey too.

Here are some photos from our visit.
